Fantasie on Danny Boy I composed Fantasie on Danny Boy as a tribute to Sir James Galway. Here is the performance at the National Flute Association banquet honoring Sir James with a Lifetime Achievement Award. 200 flutists, from flute choirs around the world performed the piece, scored for five antiphonal choirs and two groups of soloists.
